Yes we can!
Laura Dayton

New, revolutionary and improved methods to lose weight and build a beautiful body are introduced every day in magazines, books and DVDS. I know, I introduce many of them.
So why are Americans more out of shape than at any other time? Can women beat stubborn middle age fat? Can we regain our strength and vitality?
Yes we can!
In the 1980s I changed the way women thought about weight training by introducing women’s bodybuilding. In 1994 I went against conventional training wisdom in my book Freestyle Training. In 1998 I launched the most aggressive exercise arsenal against a woman’s stubborn fat in my book Lower Body Solution.
Ten years later I have perfected a program of gaining and regaining the weight and shape of the female body. You will be surprised so many of us overlooked the obvious secret—the key—to our success. So surprised, you’re going to sit back and say WOW!
WOW: Women Only Workouts is available for immediate shipment. Read some of the excerpts. Each book is loaded with forms, journals, workouts, workout cards and logs to keep you on a program until you reach success. And each book guarantees: Follow the program; you will succeed at permanent weight loss and a more beautiful body.
Share your experience. Each other’s stories keep us inspired and motivated, and reinforce the simple fact that when we do this program: results follow. Often, radical results.
WOW

I read similar article also named Yes we can!, and it was completely different. Personally, I agree with you more, because this article makes a little bit more sense for me

OK, i was little sketchy about this book at first. See my wife tends to be this a health nut and buys all sort of fitness magazines. This book actually has substance. After a couple of weeks i noticed a difference. Not only is she more tone and fit but she also has this extra boast of energy. All i can say is WOW!!!

Interesting idea for workouts - but just for women.
We can all agree an attractive body is great to have (and experience!)

Now, more and more Americans especially women are becoming out of shape (fat). In fact some people are planning to go abroad for cheap surgeries such as Breast Augmentation Surgery, Buttocks Augmentation, Breast Reduction Surgery, Cheek Implants etc., Instead of getting slim in natural way, they are opting plastic and cosmetic surgeries for making their shape. Anyhow…Nice Article on Fitness, thanks.

Weight training is never easy especially for women when the weights are so heavy.
Have you tried kickboxing?

Of course, we can make a difference and make some changes if only we learn how to discipline ourselves! I lost 85 lbs. in just one year time. What I did was to exercise every morning, jogging for 30 to 45 minutes but before that, I do water therapy like drinking 2 liters of water upon waking up. I eat heavy breakfast (fiber rich foods), fruits and vegetables, I eat moderately at noon and I observed the 6 o clock diet and it’s really very effective. Diet programs are useful if you do your own thing and they are useless if you don’t, that’s the whole point!
And of course, with a little help from a diet program I’ve worked with…

WOW is a great idea, but id say MOW (men only workouts) is a terrible followup idea. As a typical guy I can tell you I’d never even concider reading it. You did good to stick with WOW.

I was only kidding about calling a book MOW, especially for men. Way too much like meow . . . . however, I think there is a need for a book for men who are in their 50s. I’d say 99% of the true exercise books (not think thin books) are written for men; but as we all age things change. My brother and his friends workout differently, and so do I. Mike gets a lot of questions about how he’s changed his workouts not that he’s pushing 60.
I have decided my next project, but it will probably be a co-ed book called This Ol’ Bod, and a possible reprisal of Mike’s Chi Mind Control . . . we’ll have to see! Thanks for the commetn!

Great piece by Laura, as well as others, and she’s got my vote. Laura
and I attended college together in early 70s; can you believe Laura
it’s been that long? Whewwwwwww! Anyway, if anyone doesn’t know
it, besides exercise, writing and publishing, Laura is one great gal, with
an incredible sense of humor. I made her laugh in class alot and always
enjoyed conversations with her. It made my day if I could split her guts.
All the best to my ‘ol bud–and yes, she’s always a real trooper–and
many good wishes and kudos for the new year.
