I have known Mike Bullinger since 2010. I weighed 287 pounds and was trying to lose weight for a family cruise. My son recommended Mike’s business, Slim&Fit. I thought it was a place only to get diet food. Mike told me he also provided exercise training and I started weekly training with Mike. I had tried unsuccessfully to loose weight for many years, so I was skeptical. With Mike’s help, I now weigh 238 pounds. I know this is not the usual beginning to a letter of recommendation, but you need to appreciate the unique person Mike is.
Many people have education and experience that seems to indicate qualification for a particular position. Mike’s educational background in Psychology, Pharmacology, Sports Physiology, as well as an MBA, are only a fraction of Mike’s qualification. His ability to build a thriving business at Slim&Fit also required him to work with a variety of people. Mike was successful at motivating people with a wide spectrum of personality types, identifying who needed more motivation or less, planning progressive exercise routines, and recommending personal life style changes. His success was confirmed by the fact that people, like myself, came back week after week, year after year. Mike is a unique person, able to combine genuine caring for the people he trained with the ability to expand Slim&Fit. He sold a thriving business with multiple trainers and a loyal group of clients.
I was sad that Mike moved from Pennsylvania. Mike is an outstanding person whom I am sure will excel at any position.
