Angela Overbaugh - I cannot recommend Slim & FIT enough to anyone who
has ever had a dream of what they CAN be. The encouragement and education I have
received from Jaime and his staff are worth their weight in gold! With my
incredible trainer Andrea, I have changed my body from
being frumpy & middle-aged, to being strong & lean. Andrea doesn't look
at this as just a job, she takes a personal interest in your success! I look
forward to each & every workout I have, and was amazed at the changes in my body
at the age of 49! I've lost weight on ALL kinds of programs before, but NOTHING
compares to building muscle in your body. While building the muscle, you start
to have a different attitude about food, your body actually craves it more for
fuel, so making better choices start to come naturally. It's actually fun to go
clothes shopping now, and not a worry when you are invited to a cookout on a hot
summer's day to show up in shorts. My only regret is I
wish I would have done it 10 years ago! Run, don't walk to Slim & Fit if you are

Joanna Carrier, Progressive Insurance Director - When I joined Slim &
Fit, I was hoping to see a change in my appearance. I absolutely achieved this

John S. Veres - Jaime Brenkus was very, very
instrumental in helping me "recover" my body. I am 71 years old and have
always been very athletically active. I have been rowing on an indoor Concept II

of working with Slim and Fit, I lost 43 pounds and 40 inches, and went from size

Ginny Mooney - In March 2009, I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes,
placed on medications and was instructed on how to check my glucose. My
physician encouraged me to lose weight and exercise as a means of controlling my
glucoses. Since I was struggling to lose weight and exercise independently, I
started on a journey, by signing on with Slim & Fit and having a personal
trainer; Andrea….she is a “gem.” She knows when to push and when to back off,
and is always encouraging. It has been nine months now, and
I am down 43 pounds, and 31 inches including 9 inches
from my waist. My overall health has improved….I can walk up a flight of
stairs without getting short of breath, my energy level has increased
dramatically and to top it all off, my glucose levels are running at the lower
end of normal! Just this week, Andrea had me jogging on the treadmill at 4.7
mph…now that was for only a minute and a half, but I never thought I would be
able to do it. Thank you, Andrea….keep pushing me!
SF, Kirtland, Ohio - As an over 40 year old with three kids, I found myself out of shape, lacking energy,
making poor food choices, and my full time career led to strange meal times.
This lifestyle over the years, I found myself over 60 pounds out of my normal
size for over 4 years. I have never dieted in my life but it seems decrease in

I came to Slim & Fit in April after
seeing an Ad and realizing Jaime had opened up a new place. I meet Jaime back in 2002 at Doctors
Weigh and had success with it but as we all know stress in our life can make
that weight come back on. After
finally losing my weight I gained and keeping it off for 1 ½ years I got into a
rut.
When I walked thru the door and saw what Slim and Fit was and talked to Jaime
for an hour I knew he could get me out of that rut and get those 10 pounds off
that crept back on. He told me to
give him a month and he could help me. That is what I did.
I did one month starting in May and during that time I did training with Nick
twice a week. The first two times I
thought I was going to dye. I
survived.
So in one
month following the Slim and Fit plan I was down 8.4 lbs and 5-1/2 inches. I
promised myself to keep on following the plan and meet with Nick, my trainer
once a month to get that kick start plus make sure I was on track.
Two months
later I am down 14.6 lbs and 12 inches.
I have my self confidence back that I needed. I feel and look good and I have
gotten a ton of compliments from friends and family that I have not seen in a
few months. If you are looking for
something that actually works and that you can stick with Slim and Fit is it.
Kathy Dobda -As my 60th
birthday was approaching, I was concerned about my shape, my fitness, and my
nutrition. I didn’t want to grow old, frail, and feeble. I have
osteoporosis and my doctor kept telling me I needed to do weight-bearing
exercise, but I have always disliked exercise so I ignored his advice.
I’ve never been a yo-yo dieter, but my weight had just been steadily going up. I
had been eating less, but gaining weight (and girth!). I was thinking that I
needed to find a nutritionist, but I didn’t even know where to start. Then, as I
was driving to work one day last summer, I
heard Jaime
Brenkus on the radio. His approach with nutrition and exercise seemed to make
perfect sense. When I got to work, I looked up Slim and Fit and found
out that it was only a few miles from where I live. So I called.
After six
months of working with Lydia, I have lost 30 pounds. I eat more than I did
before, and I feel great. I don’t feel hungry all the time, and I haven’t
completely given up all of the things that I like to eat. Lydia
emphasized that starving myself was not going to help me lose the weight that I
wanted to lose.
I can’t tell you how afraid I was when I went for my first session with Andrea,
my trainer. I knew I was going to have to do things that I had not done before.
But Andrea was great! She started with things that I COULD do, and gradually and
gently pushed me to do more. It wasn’t long before she had me doing
push-ups—something I hadn’t done since my despised high gym classes. The
surprising thing to me was that my hour with Andrea flew by every time I went. I
would go after work, feeling tired and drained, and I would leave Slim and Fit
feeling strong and energized. Another surprising thing was that I never woke up
the next day with sore muscles. I could feel toned muscle on my body instead of
flab! I have learned how to work the various muscle groups; and with Andrea’s
encouragement, I can now RUN a few minutes in every workout.
Jaime was also very encouraging as I saw him when I came in each time. There he
was, the most “fit” person I ever knew, telling me that I looked great!
I would
recommend the Slim and Fit program to anyone. I have gone from a size 16 to a
size 12, and I’m on the way to a size 10! I have lost over 18 inches—over 5
inches each on waist and hips. I have made room in my busy life for
exercise—something I never thought that I would do. AND I feel great.
